Chelsea and Nick’s April Wedding at Woodbine Mansion: A Boho Garden Party

The lush gardens that surround Woodbine Mansion served as the perfect backdrop for Chelsea and Nick’s wedding celebration. The couple’s ceremony was held on the west lawn trellis, where beautiful neutral and blush florals were draped along with a canopy of greenery. The private rose garden in full bloom added a stunning and fragrant touch to the already picturesque setup, providing the perfect backdrop for wedding photos.

After the ceremony, guests made their way to the Magnolia lawn for cocktail hour, where they were greeted by a show stopping circular 360-degree bar and a custom cocktail luge engraved with the couple’s initials.

The clear top reception tent was the highlight of the evening, featuring a glossy, tan and white checkered dance floor and beautifully designed table settings adorned with blush and ivory hued florals and personalized menus. As the sun set, the canopy of twinkle lights and rattan pendants created a romantic ambiance, setting the stage for a night of dancing and celebration.

“Having our wedding at Woodbine Mansion was the best decision we made. First of all, the staff is super responsive and helpful despite all my never ending questions! The grounds were absolutely stunning for our wedding and our guests LOVED the venue. We had our ceremony on the lawn, cocktail hour inside the mansion followed by a reception under the clear top tent. With it being April and 85 degrees, we left the walls of the tent off of the tent which allowed for a wonderful breeze and temperature under the tent! It was honestly perfect… there’s no other way to describe it. You will have to work with a certain vendor list, but they are the top rated vendors in Austin so you’ll be in great hands. I’m so glad the woodbine staff allowed us to do a tent share with the brides from the other days on our wedding weekend. That really helped us save budget in one area which is always appreciated. I could seriously go on and on about Woodbine… getting ready with my girls in the stunning bridal suite and the fact that they allowed my dog to be part of the ceremony were a few of the highlights for me. If you’re able to, book your wedding at Woodbine! It is a hidden gem in ATX.”
